Allan Dollison has been practicing law for almost 19 years. He was born in Los Angeles, CA and grew up in Orange County CA. He graduated from Newport Harbor High School in Newport Beach, then California State University, Fullerton, and finally Western State University, College of Law. Throughout his career Allan has been a Deputy Public Defender, the Supervising Attorney of a Contract Public Defender's Office, an Assistant Attorney General for the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, and a Senior Deputy District Attorney for the County of Humboldt. As a prosecutor, he put away murderers and sexually violent predators, having completed 14 Jury Trials. Throughout his career he has done over 35 Jury Trials.

He is a dedicated family man and has two children who are being educated in the public schools of Humboldt County. He is proud of his Humboldt County heritage, as his Grandfather was born in Eureka, and his family lineage is named after a street in Eureka, CA, where St. Bernards High School is located.

He has valiantly and faithfully served his country for over a quarter-century in the US Army. He is a combat veteran of both Iraq and Afghanistan. He is a recipient of both the Bronze Star Medal and the Combat Action Badge. He holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army Reserves. He commands a Battalion in Riverside, CA.
