League Question: The PA Constitution promises the citizen clean water, air and land. What steps would you take to uphold the Constitution?

By Lisa Stout-Bashioum

Candidate for State Representative; Pennsylvania State House of Representatives; District 39; Democratic Party

This information is provided by the candidate
As perfectly stated in the PA Constitution, Pennsylvania's public natural resources are the common property of all of the people, including generations yet to come. It is with this charge that we should move forward, investing in green energy technology and infrastructure, to ensure a progressive path to leaving a productive, safe, clean and green commonwealth to our children. Managing Marcellus Shale development so that our economic and environmental futures are equally considered while this valuable natural resource is secured is of the highest importance. Environmental challenges should be viewed as opportunities for creative problem solving and potential job growth.
