The Constitution directs us to Amend it from time to time. We have done so to end slavery, to give equal voting rights to women, and to put an end to racial discrimination in the government, among other things. Now is a time that we must amend The Constitution again if we are to avoid a total financial and possible societal collapse. The Constitution provides two ways to Amend. In this case, the State Convention process will be preferred because then we will be able to place term limits on Members of Congress and limit taxing and spending, things that our so-called Representatives in D.C will never dream of doing. This movement is growing rapidly and many states have already passed their application for the Convention. As Representative, I will make it my top priority to see Pennsylvania's application passed and that we are well represented at the Convention of the States. When we are successful, we will restore our Constitution and freedom will live on for future generations to enjoy as we have. We owe it to them to try. I support the eleven Amendments laid out in The Liberty Amendments: Restoring the American Republic by Mark R. Levin, Top Constitutional Attorney and former Chief of Staff of Edwin Meese, President Reagan's Attorney General. The third Amendment Levin proposes will place limits on the Supreme Court, term-limit them, and return them to what they were initially set up to be, the branch that Thomas Jefferson said had the "least ability to annoy the citizenry". This will make it possible to bring the Holy Bible back into public schools and to finally do away with the evils of abortion and Obamacare. I will also support the Life Amendment being promoted by Pro-Life groups.
