I grew up on Lebanon's north side and graduated from Lebanon High School in 1985. I graduated with a B.S. degree in engineering from the United States Naval Academy in 1990. I spent approximately one year stationed at The Pentagon serving as the personal flag aide to the Assistant Chief of Naval Operations (Air Warfare, OP-05). I reported to Navy Pilot training in Pensacola, FL and graduated first in my class. I reported to my first duty station in Brunswick, ME and deployed twice to Sigonella, Sicily and one to Kelfavik, Iceland. I served in several different conflicts during my deployments. I reported to my next duty station in Jacksonville, FL where I commanded the largest aviation division in the U.S. Navy. I also became the lead junior officer in charge of standardization and training of over 500 pilots. I was Honorably Discharged from the Navy in December, 1999. I went to the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) and graduated with honors becoming a U.S. Customs officer. I participated in drug interdiction in Central/South America. I became a commercial pilot in 2001 and I'm currently flying the 777-200 internationally. My political background started as Judge of Elections, 2nd Ward West. In 2009 I was elected to Lebanon City Council. I served as Vice-Chairman for two years and my final year as Chairman. During my time of city council, I helped pass three consecutive balanced budgets on time and brought our police force up to it's full compliment. I helped establish a Local Economic Revitalization Tax Assistance (LERTA) to encourage new business. I helped oversee the completion of one of the largest projects in Lebanon's history, the Norfolk-Southern railway overpasses which improved first responders' travel time from the north and south sides of the city. I also help develop and pass the Coleman's Park Master Plan which improved the city's largest park for it's citizens.
