Steve has been a resident of Newtown, Pennsylvania for 29 years, has been married to his wife Susan for 33 years, and has raised his two children Adam and Jessica in the Bucks County public school system. He had a successful 31 year career with the federal government as an information technology manager and executive where, in his last position, he led over 600 information technology employees in 17 states servicing 35,000 customers. His work in the Army, Navy, Labor and Treasury Departments gave him great experience working with diverse groups of citizens to make government more efficient and effective through information technology. After Steve retired, he became more involved in local politics with progressive groups and the Democratic Party. He served as a member of the Bucks County Courier Times Editorial Board and authored numerous political commentaries for various Bucks County publications. He volunteers at local animal shelters, volunteers to teach fifth graders writing skills, attends a monthly Great Books book club, belongs to two local running clubs, and enjoys going for long walks with his wife and beautiful American Bulldog Kongo in the peaceful public parks of Bucks County. In 1976 Steve obtained a B.S. degree from the University of Chicago in philosophy and recently has audited classes at Princeton University in literature, sociology, astrophysics, and foreign policy.
