Candidate for Member, City Council; City of Lancaster

This information is provided by the candidate
I am a retired employee of the federal Dept. of Veterans Affairs. I have been involved in Lancaster government as a candidate for city council in 2010 and 2012. I was also a candidate for the Antelope Valley Healthcare District in 2012. I appear before the Lancaster City Council and speak at every meeting at least 5 times. I research the issues beforehand and discuss them with city officials before I speak. Normally, I am the only person to challenge th city council on issues to be brought before them for a vote. In effect, I have been a 'shadow city councilman' for years. The difference between the council members and me is that they are sitting on the podium. I look forward to being a full-time, unlike the others who are part-time because of their full-time jobs, and I want to be in my office everyday in city hall to help the citizens of Lancaster.
