Dear Friends and Neighbors,

I am running for reelection for the El Segundo City Council and request your support and vote on April 8th.

I care deeply about El Segundo, it's my hometown. I was raised in El Segundo, attended St. Anthony School through grade eight and graduated from El Segundo High School.

I earned my bachelor's degree from Loyola Marymount University and my master's degree from California State University Dominguez Hills. I completed the teacher credential program at Chapman College.

I've been an aerospace professional for more than 25 years. I'm currently a satellite integration, test and launch Quality Manager at a local aerospace company.

As your Council Member, I committed the past four years to make El Segundo the best city possible!

Most evenings (and many mornings and afternoons) I can be found at meetings improving our quality of life in El Segundo and promoting El Segundo; locally, regionally, statewide, and yes, nationally.

I am well-known as an advocate for El Segundo's and the South Bay's Aerospace Industry. I meet with Congressional representatives, Industry Leaders, Military Flag Officers, Los Angeles Jobs Defense Council and the Governor's Military Advisory Committee to promote El Segundo as the Aerospace Capital of the Nation and lobby to keep the Los Angeles Air Force Base in El Segundo.

I continuously monitor issues in the State which may affect El Segundo. I travelled to Sacramento to testify before the California Redistricting Commission about the detrimental impact of taking El Segundo out of the Beach Cities districts and combining us with cities to the north and east.

I've teamed with School Board members to successfully advocate our State Representatives to increase funding for our high performing schools. I also successfully advocated to reinstate funding for SoCalROC to keep vital trades training in our school district.

I never forget, I work for YOU!

It is a privilege to serve as your Council Member.

I respectfully request your vote on April 8th.
