Campaign Statement

By Robert O. "Bob" Kenworthy

Candidate for Commissioner; Township of Nether Providence; Ward 2

This information is provided by the candidate
Experience matters. Re-electing Bob Kenworthy brings a wealth of experience and sound decision making ability back onto the board of commissioners.
I am seeking re-election as the commissioner representing the 2nd Ward of Nether Providence Township because I believe in service + service to constituents, to the community, and to society in general. This service is best facilitated by knowledge of the history and heritage of the township and the experience of dealing with the issues presented by the current-day community. During my first term, I have been engaged in having the township significantly reduce its energy usage, expand the volume of material that is recycled, and make progress toward making our community safer for pedestrians. All this was accomplished and the day-to-day business of the township was conducted in an efficient manner. Tax increases were minimized during a time of financial stress. I pledge to continue to serve with integrity if elected. Experience Matters!
