Hard working, full time impartial judge who protects the community

By William D. "Bill" Kraut

Candidate for Judge; Magisterial District Court; District 15-2-03

This information is provided by the candidate
When I was elected in 2007 I campaigned on a platform that included being a hard working, full time impartial judge. Since my election I have fulfilled that pledge. I am available to the court daily, the police departments have my personal contact information and are fully aware that if they need anything day or night including weekends and holidays they are to contact me. I have even come back to the court from vacation to perform my duties. I take my oath seriously.

Since I have been on the bench the volume of cases has increased. In the 6 years I have been your judge there have been over 40,000 filings and the court has collected well in excess of $6,000,000.00 in fines and cost. When I was elected the court was ranked 9th out of the 19 Chester County district courts we are now the 3rd busiest court.

I have been endorsed by the Chester County FOP, the Westtown East Goshen Police Benevolent Association, the Philadelphia Building and Construction Trades Council and the Chester County Committee of the Building Trades Council. I am the past president of our local District Judges Association, and have been appointed to a statewide Supreme Court committee.

The issue in this election is a simple one: my experience, reputation, track record, and community service vs. the inexperience of my democratic opponent.

I have run a positive bipartisian campaign. It has been my privilege to serve our community and I would be honored to receive your vote on November 5th.
