I bring the perspective of a parent with school-aged children and a desire to improve education and serve our community to my candidacy.

With regards to my being listed as a Republican on the ballot:

I believe that education is a non political issue. While I am a registered Democrat I am listed as a Republican because that is the primary that I won. I believe whether Democrat, Republican, or Independent, what is most important is to do what is best for children.
