Wallace ready for fiscal duty.

By Vince Wallace

Candidate for Fiscal Officer; Township of Symmes

This information is provided by the candidate
I would humbly ask for your vote on November 5th to allow me the honor to continue to serve you!
I am a candidate for Symmes Township Fiscal Officer because I believe I have the experience, knowhow and skills needed to perform the duties of Fiscal Officer at a very high level. If elected, I will hit the ground running and spend whatever time needed to provide a smooth and accurate transition.

I have a resume of 30 years of combined public service including my service in the U.S. Air Force (1980-1988). My current position as Chief of Operations for the Hamilton County Clerk of Courts fully prepares me for the challenges that lie ahead in Symmes Township. I am responsible for 210 employees as well as an 11.3 million dollar operating budget and the proper distribution of over 13 million dollars in collected fines, costs and fees per year. These unique qualifications will allow me to serve the residents of Symmes if elected to this office.

I am also an OPOTA certified Sergeant with the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office Special Deputy Program where I work in Squad Three and supervise 15 deputies on a part time basis. I have enjoyed patrolling the neighborhoods of Symmes Township over the last 11 years.

As a long time conservative that believes in a limited government, I have spent my adult life helping true conservatives get elected. My voting record reflects my conservative values. I have served as a Precinct Executive and Ward Chairman for Symmes Township and the Republican Party. I was elected President of the Hamilton County Republican Club twice (1999 and 2007). If helping good conservatives get elected in Hamilton County and Symmes Township makes me a professional politician, I will wear that like a badge of honor.

I am blessed to be the Endorsed Republican Candidate for this election. I am humbled and honored that the Symmes Township and Hamilton County Republican Parties have both endorsed me. Other endorsements include: Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters, Hamilton County Clerk of Courts Tracy Winkler, Hamilton County Commissioner Greg Hartman, Hamilton County Commissioner Chris Monzel and Ohio Veterans United.

I am 52 years old and I'm happily married to my wife, Debbie. We have six children and three grandchildren. Debbie and I have been good citizens of Symmes Township for many years, but our days of running kids to the soccer fields at Loveland High School are over as all of our kids are now adults and that leaves me the time to use my skills and experience to serve this community once again.

I would humbly ask for your vote on November 5th to allow me the honor to continue to serve you!

Vince Wallace
