Education and Qualifications:

My top priority at City Hall is simple; maintain a great quality of life in Redwood City so it is a place we all desire to live, work, and play.

For the past four years I've worked hard at City Hall to be a voice for every resident in Redwood City for fiscal responsibility and quality of life issues. I'm grateful for the opportunity to serve you on the City Council and live in this incredible community where I am raising my family.

We have balanced the City's budget every year without devastating cuts to public safety or neighborhood services and also put away reserve funds for the next "rainy day."

I'm focused on top notch police and fire departments; well-maintained streets that are safe for pedestrians and bicycles; parks, libraries and community centers where seniors and children gather; great public schools; a thriving new Downtown Redwood City; and a local economy which attracts new companies and good jobs.

Looking forward, we need to carefully manage new growth; use tax dollars responsibly, manage utility costs, and continue the renaissance of our great Downtown. Redwood City needs experienced leadership and I would be honored to have your vote. http://www.johnseybert.com
