Fix Burlingame Avenue Streetscape reduced downtown parking

The recent Burlingame Streetscape (Burlingame Avenue construction project) approved by the current City Council and Burlingame Avenue property owners reduced the number of parking spaces and increased parking rates by 50%. There are no approved plans to build or construct additional parking facilities. Andrew believes with new leadership we can have more parking for a lower price. He supports more Downtown parking.

Fully Fund City Employees Benefits/Pensions

The City of Burlingame is not properly funding City workers future pensions / healthcare expenses. Andrew will focus on investing and correctly budgeting for city employee future obligations.

Burlingame Voter Approval on all major expenditures

Our city's budget has increased at an unsustainable pace. Andrew wants to ensure our future with careful review of expenses and that the voter's voices are heard.

Expanding Opportunities-Create more jobs in Burlingame

Burlingame has vast opportunities to create more revenue by changing current zoning policies. Andrew can help our city become more business friendly and generate additional jobs/revenue.

NO High Speed Rail

Andrew has been against the High Speed Rail project from Day 1. As a Burlingame City Council Member, Andrew will continue to fight to keep this wasteful and intrusive Boondoggle out of our city.
