Candidate for
Midcoast Community Council

I have a very strong interest in the outdoors. I have hiked many of the trails on the Midcoast, and walking on our beaches and reefs

I am a member of the HMB History Association, and am deeply interested in local history.

I am a life-long resident of the Bay Area, currently living in Montara, and previously lived in Miramar.

I have been attending meetings of the Midcoast Community Council for the past year. I started attending because I was interested in the California Coastal Trail (and became a working member of the trail group). During this time, I have come to understand how important a function the Council serves for our community, and now want to contribute.

I am a financial supporter of POST, Save the Redwoods, Nature Conservancy, and other organizations with similar goals. I am a member of the Bay Area Ridge Trail and California Native Plant Society. I do volunteer work on trail maintenance, coastal cleanup, and related activities. My main recreational activity is hiking.

I am a fan of jazz and folk music, support KCSM, and am a member of the Bach Dynamite and Dancing Society in Miramar.
