Position Papers
Citizen government
Local government is the bedrock of our democratic institutions and the place where we as citizens have the most control.
Ensuring financial stability for the Fire District
The District must continue to exercise very tight control over its expenditures and future commitments. We must also resist any further diversion of taxes paid to the District to bail out non-Fire District activities.
Improving emergency response times in spite of increased congestion
Increased traffic congestion will make it more difficult to respond to emergencies if we continue to utilize our current procedures.
