I hope you will join me in helping to improve Santa Barbara a little bit each and every day.

I am a current city planning commissioner, long-time board member of the Downtown Organization and Lodging & Restaurant associations, parent, and locally employed businessman.

There are plenty of challenges to face- the negative impacts of homelessness, young adult violence and gang problems, declining infrastructure and facilities, and reductions in city services.

Our city should focus on being clean, safe and welcoming to all, in step with a business community that is healthy and contributes to our quality of life. A healthy local economy is critical to having the ability to responsibly address our social, environmental and financial issues while respecting our small town character and charm.

I will support a city government that is responsive, fair and accountable. One that focuses on measurable results. I will initiate collaborations with business and non-profit groups to augment and improve city services. I will increase neighborhood input regarding the future of their neighborhoods. I will work to re-establish city priorities and support for the truly needy, at risk youth and eroding infrastructure. I pledge to help lead our city in a direction that benefits each and every resident.

Together with you, I'll be working to-

  • Improve public safety levels to ensure our community is clean, safe and welcoming to all

  • Prioritize support for programs that measurably assist the truly needy and at-risk youth

  • Incentivize and streamline business development that improves our quality of life

  • Increase neighborhood participation and input regarding the future of their neighborhoods

  • Utilize city resources in a manner that is fair, measureable and responsive
