I work for the Allegheny County Law Department in their child protection division. This means that I work to assure children are properly cared for at home and attending school. I also have a private law practice in Special Education Law where I assure children with special needs and their teachers have the proper supports they need. In my free time I am a volunteer firefighter.

From building our Veterans Memorial to volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, I have made public service part of my life. I serve as a volunteer firefighter, and I have responded to calls throughout the district. I know our community and our needs well. While on the Mt. Lebanon Commission, I championed fiscal discipline with infrastructure investment and good government practices. I wrote ordinances for a real balanced budget, eliminated millions in planned public debt, and consolidated services that continue to save hundreds of thousands of dollars. We need Harrisburg to be more innovative and I will fight for change.

Expanded Priorities:
1.Education + I believe in increased state funding especially for special education, reforming our property tax system, and charter school reform.
2.Infrastructure + We are inadequately maintaining our streets, highways and bridges. I will work for a sustainable solution to public transit
3.Jobs + We need family sustaining jobs. This includes green initiatives and state contracts prioritizing Pennsylvanian jobs first.
