  • City of Pleasanton experience: Economic Vitality (since May 2012) and Cultural Plan (since Jan 2013) Committees, Aquatic Center (1992-1997)
  • Additional civic experience: Congressman Swalwell's Women's Advisory Committee, Museum on Main, Amador Valley High School Comp Civics
  • Pleasanton native and longtime member of the community, since 1981
  • Married six years to Brett Handerson and new first-time homeowner of a vintage Downtown Pleasanton home (built in 1912)
Top Priorities if Elected
  • Represent younger families and households - Generations X & Y (this is approximately those who are between the ages of 18 and 49)
  • Thoughtful planning policies with an emphasis on: transit-oriented development, preserving our urban growth boundary, nurturing our cherished Downtown
  • Develop and implement public policy programs that support and take advantage of a 21st century innovation economy
