We need to be honest with one another, which goes for elected officials, the media and the public. Too often, the spin of a policy is more important than what it actually does, which is highly detrimental to our democracy. Facts matter, and we cannot pretend they don't or argue those facts which may not fit a specific political ideology. We just need to be more honest. |
