The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board
As Pennsylvanians we are accustomed to the state's control of all aspects of wholesale and retail liquor sales but it is important to remember that the Pennsylvania model is foreign to all but one other state in the union.

A privatized system would recapture these lost sales and improve profitability while at the same time reducing price, creating jobs and allow Pennsylvanians to realize an overall better shopping experience.

My View of Our Educational System
Education should prepare our children to become productive members of society and not dependent on it. A family's economic status should not dictate the level of their child's ability to achieve academically.

My view on education is simple and straightforward--support great schools, close low performing ones. Taxpayers deserve the efficient use of their dollars and the elimination of waste, fraud and abuse.

Market Based Workforce Development Education Programs Create Jobs
The poor state of the Pennsylvania economy requires that we develop innovative job creation programs to jumpstart economic growth. We need to channel educational resources to key occupational skills within those industries to create a job force that would allow potential employers to experience a competitive advantage by relocating, expanding or remaining in Pennsylvania. This advantage will be sustained, quantifiable, and difficult to imitate in a different state.
