LWV Question: Question Given limited resources, what areas of funding are a priority for you and why?

By Edward Charles Gainey

Candidate for State Representative; Pennsylvania State House of Representatives; District 24

This information is provided by the candidate
My top priority when I get to Harrisburg will be to fight for a dedicated and sustainable source for public transportation. The governor has been given recommendations from his commission but has yet to show leadership on how he will approach the crisis. More troubling, our representative has not stood up to fight for public transportation. The cuts to education are not only detrimental, but also counter-productive. The best way to make use of the resources that I have is to be available to voters in my district to communicate and to be an advocate.
