Questions & Answers

1. How will you prioritize the budget choices the Legislature must make to align the state’s income and spending?

We need to return to Good Government, which is based on Full Employment. Without full employment we will constantly be sacrificing our quality of life. We need to identify ways to increase domestic demand for California products, and increase small business demand by 20-50% by refusing to let external organizations dictate our economic focus to us. We need to obtain and maintaining full employment, ensuring that families and not banks are in houses, and providing for the public education of our children. By protecting our native small businesses, and obstructing access to out-of-state/county businesses which view us as an import-only market, and do not provide jobs, we can increase small business demand 20-50% and ensure that we have a robust and thriving economy as well as putting an additional $500 Billion in circulation within the State.

2. What types of changes or reforms, if any, do you think are important to make our state government function more effectively?

We need to make sure that we can't continue to be viewed as an import-only market. This hurts our employment, and causes distress amongst the middle class. We need to start with the foundations of good government, which is full employment, and reforms to obtain full employment should be our #1 priority as a government. We need to create legislation which provides for the most representative form of government we can, including the mandate of district-level elections for cities in excess of 100,000 people.

3. Fees for public higher education have gone up dramatically and funding has been cut. Is this a priority concern, and if so, what measures would you propose to address it?

Education is a byproduct of Good Government. By restoring the revenue base of California, and returning to full employment as well as restoring housing revenues, we can begin working towards an in-state, tuition-free fund for California residents for the California State school system. That should be our ultimate aim.

4. What other major issues do you think the Legislature must address? What are your own priorities?

The legislature needs to return their focus to good government and avoid letting special interests dictate legislation. We need to conduct a bottom-up analysis for starting and maintaining a small business in California, and streamline regulations without compromising our quality of life. We need to return to full employment, and full housing and make a concerted effort to restore the prosperity to the Middle Class.
