Responsible, Practical Governance for our Wonderful Corner of the Great City

By Andrew Bley

Candidate for Board of Supervisors; County of San Francisco; Supervisorial District 7

This information is provided by the candidate
Thank you for considering me for District 7 Supervisor. I'm running out of my love and concern for the City; I have no agenda other than furthering the health and magnificence of the City and will honestly represent the residents, businesses, students, and visitors here in District 7 and beyond.

I've worked for the City, private businesses, non-profits, and I run my own small business but one thing that certainly sets me apart from the other candidates is my long and varied history of volunteerism. I started the recycling program at the SFSU residence community which now reaches over 5000 campus residents, while in school I delivered thousands of meals for Project Open Hand and spent years tutoring English to youth and adults struggling with the language. Working alongside SFPD, SFFD and others, I have donated an immense amount of pro-bono mapping and analysis to Project Homeless Connect (as well as worked the events themselves). I volunteer at libraries playing music for children and was appointed by Supervisor Elsbernd (in a volunteer capacity) to the Pedestrian Safety Advisory Committee. My love of San Francisco is right there for anyone to see and my skills and abilities are absolutely conducive to responsible, practical governance.
