Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Jim Wood

Candidate for
Mayor; City of Oceanside

This information is provided by the candidate

Jim is running for re-election because he is committed to maintaining a community where people want to live, work and play.

He understands how vital it is to have an Oceanside Police Officer respond when you call 911 and an Oceanside Firefighter/Paramedic to be present when you need one + not simply an EMT.

Jim consistently works with the San Diego North County Mayors to improve the economy in our region, the Board of Directors of the North County Transit District and the representatives of SANDAG for enhancing transportation issues.

Mayor Wood will always be fighting to find ways to keep our libraries, pools and parks open for all of us to use. He is also aware of the necessity to protect our environment, to celebrate our diverse population and to encourage our youth towards a brighter future.

Jim believes the best way to keep the City moving forward is to elect Team Oceanside: Jim Wood for Mayor, Esther Sanchez and Dana Corso for Council. These people care about you and are dedicated to serving the best interests of the entire community.
