Council Member; City of Encinitas

As an award-winning Parks and Recreation Commissioner,I co-wrote Proposition R to put sand back on our beaches without taxing Encinitas Residents, and successfully reduced the financial burden on local youth sports teams by spearheading the elimination of city-imposed field-use fees.

As a member of the Encinitas City Council my mission is to balance the needs of our diverse communities with those of our beautiful natural environment, while seeing that important projects are completed.

Whether it is public safety, alleviating traffic problems, or demanding city government be more accountable, I will continue to make decisions and get things done for the people of Encinitas.
