Councilwoman Sterling, was born and raised in San Diego. Ruth,comes from a family of ten(10)and is the middle child of eight(8)children.

Ruth, has lived in La Mesa for fifty(50)years and worked as a Licensed Vocational Nurse(LVN), while she raised her four (4) daughters. After her daughters graduated from high school Ruth became involved in local politics.

Councilwoman Sterling, was elected to the La Mesaa City Council in 1992, with faithful service to the community for twenty (20) years and near perfect attendance, she wants to continue serving you.

Ruth diligently does her homework. Fights for her constituency with a heart and voice for the people. She has undisputed experience and is dedicated to duty. Councilwoman Sterling, is trustworthy, assessable and reliable.
