We have a lot of work to do!

I will rebuild the economy through business development while increasing awareness in the arts, promoting literacy, and creating access to a healthy lifestyle. These plans will DECREASE GOVERNMENT SPENDING!

With the global economy in such a devastated state, and the current Federal Government's failed attempts in bringing about the positive "change" we were promised, it is the local government's duty to implement plans to rebuild our cities individually. Let's do our part to restore the City of El Cajon so the next generation will have a healthy and happy place to live, learn, work and play.

Downtown El Cajon has been cleaned up and remodeled, but the rest of our city still needs a lot of help to break out of the destitute condition in which it currently stands. El Cajon's residents are subject to a 1% higher sales tax than the county and we are reported to have the highest poverty rate in San Diego at 20.6%. Businesses are struggling to survive in such a tough environment, and support from the local government can save money and even GENERATE income for our city.

I will put the city on a fiscal "diet" and prioritize the areas which have suffered from cuts, like public safety, and teach the city to live within our means. My plans will cause a chain reaction to restore El Cajon as the "The Valley of Opportunity"
