Semi-retired, small business owner with forty years experience supporting U.S. Navy (six years active duty). Retired in 2008 from Naval Air Force Headquarters Staff as Deputy Director, Aviation Maintenance Policy, acting as senior civilian authority for technical and maintenance engineering support of USN and USMC aircraft, support systems, and personnel, worldwide.

Vice-President, Sweetwater Valley Civic Association; President, Bonita Highlands Homeowners' Association; USN Veteran; Member of American Legion, Member Zoological Society of San Diego.

Since 2010, have volunteered many hours on behalf of Bonita-Sweetwater Valley water ratepayers, led community meetings on topic and provided public comment and critique to SBID/Sweetwater Authority board, staff, and finance committee. While supporting water conservation efforts, worked to help directors understand and reduce negative financial impact that 2010 tiered rate-change vote had on many District 5 residential customers.

Education: BBA (SCL); Professional Logistician; Naval War College graduate, National Security Decision Making.
