  • Occupation: Mother/Teacher
  • Mother of 2 daughters: Hannah (2) & Abi (1)
  • Teacher for 6 years in the County, most of those at Lexington Elementary on First Street
  • Bilingual Credential (BCLAD) in English & Spanish, specializing in teaching English Learners of both Hispanic and Arabic background
  • Bachelor of Science in Linguistics, Minor in Spanish, from SDSU
  • Lifelong Resident (except college) and Volunteer: Higher Ground Clubs, Youth Venture, Bus Ministry, and other church and school-sponsored outreaches
  • Bought a home on Avocado 3 years ago and plan on building and investing my family here in El Cajon

Top Priorities if Elected
  • Facilitate an increased community accountability, responsibility, and identity through nonprofit and private partnerships for social services
  • Reduce city expense, increase efficiency, and promote local business by privatizing all appropriate sectors of city responsibility
  • In effect, my goal is to cut taxes on social services and day-to-day operations means lowering the sales tax back to the county rate!
