I have lived in VC for two years. My community service includes, former vice president of VC Chamber of Commerce, former vice president of Lilac Teacher Parent Club (TPC), classroom aide at Lilac School, member CERT, 2010 Honorary Mayor candidate, chairman of the Community Advisory Committee (CAC), School Site Council board member, Boy Scout committee member, Cub Scout den leader and volunteer/CAPS coordinator board member for Valley Center Little League and T-Ball assistant coach.

I didn't have a father around or someone to push for my education as a kid. So being a father myself, I have a strong need to be there for my kids and make sure they are raised properly and get a good education.

I heard on the radio several years ago if you want to make a difference in your community, run for the school board, so I am. I think it is important to have people on the board that have children in school. I have elementary school children that go to Lilac. Since I have "skin in the game", and the other board members do not, I will think about the children and not just economics.

I was born in the Los Angeles area. I attended school in El Monte, CA. I served eight years in the Navy, received a BS in Electric Engineering and married the love of my life Cheri Robledo. We have two wonderful boys, Sean and Anthony, 5 and 7.
