Candidate for
Council Member; City of Imperial Beach

I am a simple mom of three children: Marc, 13; Kathryn 11; and Xavier, our special little man, 3. Xavier has autism and eosinophilic esophagitis. I have learned to be disciplined with the bureaucracy of insurance companies, doctors offices, and treatments over the past year and a half. One of the best things that I hear from Xavier when we pull up to our house is "My Home."

This is the reason I run.

I have lived in Imperial Beach since August 2006. I was raised just up the Strand, and fell in love with the community feel here in Imperial Beach. I have seen development go out of control in Coronado, and do not want that disjunction in my home. I want to strengthen the community feel here for all of the citizens of Imperial Beach.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance. I am very methodical in my thinking. I created the platform R.E.E.F.-Redevelopment, Economics, Environment, Family to encompass the ideals that I feel our city needs at this point.
