This is a copy of information submitted to elections officials by the candidate

Occupation: Chair, El Camino Hospital District Board
Age: 56
Education and Qualifications:
I have been a champion of maintaining El Camino Hospital as a well managed, award-winning, independent, locally controlled health care provider to serve District residents.

I am a tireless proponent of expanding our transparency, accountability and community engagement with innovative approaches:

Added 24 community members to 6 newly created oversight committees

More than doubled Community Benefit expenditures to over $5.5M/year

Improved efficiency and accountability by establishing an Organizational Scorecard to keep administrators aligned with our Hospital strategy.

Recognizing the diverse needs of District residents, we continue to support and improve our Women's Hospital, Stroke Center, South Asian Heart Center and our Chinese Health Initiative.

I grew up attending public schools in the district. I graduated from Harvard and earned my MBA from Stanford. I have worked as an eCommerce executive for 17 years and live in Los Altos with my wife and twin 8-year old girls.

I am an effective board member because I am independent and accountable to all stakeholders, not any special interest group and have deep community support, including endorsements from:

Mountain View Mayor Mike Kasperzak, Los Altos City Councilwoman Megan Satterlee, Sunnyvale City Councilwoman Tara Martin-Milius, Former Democratic Assemblywoman Sally Lieber, Former Republican Assemblyman Jim Cunneen
