Occupation: Trustee
Education and Qualifications:
Accomplishments: Continually increased student transfers and graduations rate, increased scholarships for our students; help initiate Aspire and supported Affirm and Enlace designed to increase students' personal and academic success.

Proponent: Distance Education for busy adults and professionals; continual support of Campus Tutorial Centers for students; help initiate and support "Kinder-Carminata", where 900 Kindergartners visit our college each year to increase math and science skills and further, support increasing partnership with Business, Industry, Workforce and Economic Development.

Leadership: Past President, California Community Colleges Trustees, representing all 72 college districts; Past Vice President, Community College League of California, providing input and negotiations with the state legislature, influencing budget and legislative matters for community colleges; Past President, San Jose/Evergreen CCD Board; Chair, District's Audit Committee, insuring fiscal responsibility for the District; Advisory on the transformation and master-plan of San Jose City College and Evergreen Valley College that will most effectively address students' future curricula in the 21st century.
