Age: 42
Education and Qualifications:
Los Altos Mayor 2009; current HP employee; BA Stanford, JD/MBA UCLA; Planning Commissioner

Thank you for the privilege of serving you. In 2007 I made several commitments which I have actively pursued. I supported sound fiscal management; improving safety on our roads especially near schools; and changes in zoning to promote a vibrant downtown. My guiding principle has been the preservation of the character of Los Altos. This has become even more important to my family since the birth of our son in 2010.

In my first term, Council adopted a number of plans including Bicycle Transportation, Collector Street Traffic Calming, and Parks. In my second term, I will work to guide their timely implementation, including gathering community input on each project.

My priorities for the next four years are ensuring fiscal responsibility, including a balanced budget and continued pension reform; investing in safety on our roads; and promoting the character of downtown and all areas of the City. I have been a strong independent voice on the Council with an open mind. With your support, I'll continue to advocate with integrity on behalf of our entire community.

I respectfully ask for your vote. Thank you! http://www.MeganSatterlee.com
