Occupation: Property Developer/Builder
Age: 50
Education and Qualifications:
In 2010, I organized "Share Shoreline", a group of parent volunteers who successfully lobbied the city to share thirteen million dollars in property taxes with our schools over a three year period. That agreement expires next year. If elected, I will work for a new, permanent tax sharing agreement with the city that provides a permanent source of additional funding for our schools.

As a member of the MVLA high school district Measure A Citizen's Oversight Committee since 2010, I have experience overseeing MVLA's $41 million dollar school modernization program. If elected, I will use that experience to ensure our $196 million dollar Measure G modernization program is managed wisely and efficiently.

My other priorities are to reinforce the culture of continuous improvement and accountability among all district employees; expand the use of technology in our classrooms; and develop new, more effective approaches to teacher evaluation and training.

Mountain View has been my home for 15 years, and I care about all the kids in this community. If elected, I will work hard to ensure all our students have access to a great education. Thank you for your vote!
