Candidate for
Santa Clara County Open Space Authority Director; District 4

This is a copy of information submitted to elections officials by the candidate

Occupation: Environmental Business Developer
Age: 44
Education and Qualifications:
As a Director for the Santa Clara County Open Space Authority, my top three priorities will be to: (1) increase access of properties to the public, (2) diversify the funding base through earned income so it is not entirely dependent on public taxes, and (3) collaborate with other agencies to reduce operational costs and improve the user experience. I have served on the Open Space Authority's Citizens Advisory Committee as a volunteer since 2005.

As a business owner and manager I develop new solar power, energy efficiency, water conservation, and land use business ventures that create a more sustainable and economically prosperous California for all. My experience and ability includes developing cross sector solutions that enables businesses, organizations and governments to develop economically viable strategies and capital resources that achieve community sustainability.

My education includes a MBA in Sustainable Management from the Presidio School of Management and a BA in geology/geography from Denison University. I have lived in the district for 17 years and I understand the challenges and potential of our diverse community. I am respectfully requesting your vote for District Four Director.

Thank you for your consideration!
