Education and Qualifications:
The Grand Jury and the public agency that oversees El Camino Hospital District found the Board should provide better health services to the community and make their decisions transparent to the public. I am running to make these important improvements.

My experience in local and regional politics taught me to build alliances and be accountable. I have many years of experience in high-tech, have served as Mayor and Council Member of Sunnyvale for 8 years, and served on Boards of many agencies, including the Association of Bay Area Governments, Bay Area Economic Forum, Bay Area Air Quality Management District, Sustainable Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Bay Trail. This public service has allowed me to develop a set of regional, state and federal contacts and experiences critical to getting issues accomplished.

I am a good listener, energetic, dependable and accountable to my constituents. I respect diversity and listen to all viewpoints. I will work towards enhanced partnerships and increased community benefit dollars. I would be honored to receive your support and vote. Contact: Julia@juliamiller.net
