Occupation: Retired Police Lieutenant
Age: 62
Education and Qualifications:
I am a lifelong Santa Clara resident, graduated from San Jose State, and retired from the Santa Clara Police Department after 30 years of service. I remain active in various civic organizations including serving as a member of the Parks & Recreation Commission for 8 years. I've been married for 40 years, raised three children and have one granddaughter.

My priorities as a Councilmember are straightforward: Provide the very best services to our residents in the areas of public safety, safe streets, municipal utilities, libraries, parks, senior and youth services. Ensure our city government is open, accessible, transparent, and accountable. Preserve our neighborhoods and the quality of life we enjoy.

Economic development and pension reform are keys to maintaining our city's fiscal health and balancing our budget. I support efforts to expand our economic base, attract convention center business, and bring new sustainable jobs to the city. Vigilant oversight of the stadium project is paramount to guarantee everything promised from the stadium and that our general fund is protected. I have the experience, commitment, drive and love of this community to be your tireless advocate on the City Council.

I respectfully ask for your consideration and vote.
