Occupation: Teacher/Incumbent

Education and Qualifications:
Education is the foundation of our society and the democracy we hold dear. As a school board member, it has been my special responsibility to work to provide the best possible education for all students in Franklin-McKinley School District. My work on the board the last eight years has been especially focused on working to identify and close the achievement gap between students of different ethnic groups and to provide equal opportunities to all students. Student success and preparation for high school and college work or for work in career and technical fields are the goals of the work of the board, and I am committed to continue making these opportunities available to all students. At the same time, I am working on preparing students to be participating citizens in society and to be prepared to take on the role of parents as well as workers, to be better thinkers and better people in the overall world in which we all live. I thank you for your trust these last eight years and look forward to continue the important work of providing the best possible education for all students. Vote John Lindner for Franklin-McKinley School Board.
