Occupation: Business Woman
Education and Qualifications:
To face the tough challenges, our city needs leadership. I am a proven community leader committed to enhancing quality of life in Milpitas, improving neighborhood safety, returning to fiscal discipline, balanced budgets, and encouraging business development to bring good jobs to our city.

With an MBA in finance, I have budgeting and financial experience as an accountant, financial analyst, and served on the Planning Commission and Budget Task Force. I share the common sense wisdom of every family balancing a budget: if you can't afford it, don't buy it. For 21 years, I have been actively involved in Milpitas and honored as Milpitas Citizen of the Year 1998, MLK Good Neighborhood Award, and Asian American Hero Award.

My greatest passion is empowering all citizens, including women and minorities, to participate in their community and engage their local, state and federal elected officials. As an immigrant and proud American citizen, I know firsthand the freedom to exercise our political voice makes America unique. I will give Milpitas residents a voice in City Hall.

Please join Congresswoman Anna Eshoo, Supervisor Dave Cortese, Sheriff Laurie Smith and City Councilwoman Althea Polanski, and others to partner with me for a better Milpitas. Visit http://www.deepka.org.
