Occupation: Incumbent/Retired Environmental Engineer
Education and Qualifications:
As the incumbent, I have over 45 years of water resources management experience and masters degrees in Civil Engineering and Public Administration. I will continue to fight to: keep your water rates low, protect our environment, ensure operations are run cost effectively and protect our communities from flooding

I've been a strong advocate of reducing the District's budget, and fiscal accountability. I will continue to listen to input from the community and make policy decisions that prioritize adequate water supply, flood protection, dam safety, infrastructure improvement, habitat restoration, climate protection trail and open space preservation. Prior to joining the board, I was mayor and council member of Cupertino. I also worked as a principal sanitary engineer for the San Jose Environmental Services Department for 25 years. I have served on the Bay Area Air Quality Management District Board, California Water Environment Association Board, Association of California Water Agencies Board, League of California Cities Board, Environmental Advisory Committee, Water Commission and Watershed Protection Committee.

I am committed to representing a transparent and fully accountable board. I have received endorsements from the mayors and elected officials from cities I currently serve. I respectfully ask for your support.
