Officer, U.S. Navy Civil Engineer Corps - 22 years

Professional Engineer, City Councilman - 12 years

My engineering, financial and business management education and more than 40 years experience in facilities planning, construction, maintenance, transportation management, housing and utilities continue to present as Facilities Planning/Construction Project Consultant. This experience includes leadership and administration of small and large organizations.

In my previous three terms as Gilroy Councilman, I actively participated in numerous planning and financial issues. I advocated teamwork, sound, objective decision making process by City Council and city staff. With full appreciation for issues of cities, concern for residential, commercial, industrial development, city services, planning and transportation, I have actively represented the City of Gilroy in several regional organizations such as County Transportation Commission, Association of Bay Area Governments, South County Plan Committee, Caltrain-Gilroy Committee, Santa Clara County Cities Association and Congestion Management Agency.

I have necessary ability, experience and professional attitude to promote teamwork and meet the significant challenges facing City of Gilroy. I earnestly seek Gilroy residents support to be elected to Gilroy City Council.
