This is a copy of information submitted to elections officials by the candidate

Occupation: Incumbent/Retired Engineer
Age: 63
Education and Qualifications:
I am glad to have served you the last four years as Councilmember and current Vice Mayor. I have served on a Council that has provided excellent city services, balanced budgets, secured new contracts with structural reforms in employee compensation and benefits.

I served on the Council that selected a new City Clerk, City Attorney and City Manager that have successfully kept the City on track serving Mountain View's residents and businesses throughout all the transitions. Most importantly, I have been responsive and effective in assisting citizens and businesses resolving zoning, regulatory, development and neighborhood issues.

I intend to continue ensuring Mountain View's excellent City services are based on sound fiscal management, balanced budgets and best value for users of City services. Financially sustainability is paramount because of the City's considerable obligations for all the services and weaker economic conditions than in the past.

I also intend to continue to emphasize maintaining city infrastructure, support improvements in safety for pedestrians and cyclists, address traffic issues, especially in neighborhoods and keeping our parks green.

Please check my campaign priorities and community service page at http://www.ElectInks.com. Appreciate your vote on November 6.
