This is a copy of information submitted to elections officials by the candidate

Occupation: Parent/Lawyer
Education and Qualifications:
I am a proud graduate of Alum Rock Union School District (McCollam, Linda Vista, Fischer Middle School), Overfelt High School and Santa Clara University.

In these times of funding uncertainty, parents want and our schools need a voice of experience on the school board. I know how to get things done for our children at our school district level, and I know how to fight for our schools at the state and federal government level.

I believe strongly in providing more schools of choice for our parents. Children do not all learn in the same manner or at the same pace, and so I support providing different educational alternatives for our students.

I support small schools, where parents and teachers are more involved in decisions affecting their school. I support charter schools, where teachers and parents can make their own decisions about what is best for their student, without state government or the district office getting in the way.

Caring teachers, supportive parents and access to a quality education made a big difference in my life. Let's make a difference in our school district by expecting the best from our students, while also demanding the best from our school administrators.
