Manny Cappello

I love Saratoga...the safe and well maintained neighborhoods, historic and picturesque downtown, and wooded and beautiful parks.

Are there opportunities to improve our city? Absolutely! But changes to an already amazing city require careful consideration and foresight or they could easily result in more harm than good. The key is to apply good judgment, experience and conviction necessary to advance well thought out solutions while not allowing fear of change deprive us of a vibrant future.

I spent six years on the Saratoga Planning Commission making difficult land use decisions. I have spent the last two and a half years on the City Council establishing finance policies, adopting ordinance changes, and negotiating union contracts that were forward-thinking and in the best interest of Saratoga. I'm proud of my fellow citizens, who care enough to speak up and participate in the dialogue surrounding these decisions. I'm proud of the careful consideration and commonsense approach that went into every decision that I've made.

Saratoga deserves leaders who have experience, strong values, character and confidence to do the right thing even when a vocal minority may be the voice most loudly heard.

As your City Councilman, I stand for: Strong vibrant neighborhoods, Small efficient government, Culturally enriched communities, Active healthy living, and Vibrant commercial districts that improve the quality of life for all Saratogans

I'm proud of the accomplishments I've made so far as your councilman and I ask for four more years to achieve even more.

Vote for character, experience, and strong values. Vote for Manny. Thank you.
