? 1. What experience related to city government would you bring to the City Council?

I have 21 years invested in serving Morgan Hill:

7 years on Planning Commission 8 years as a Council Member 6 years as Mayor

? 2. What concerns are of particular importance to the city and how would you address them?

Answer from Steve Tate:

Maintain sustainable budget strategy

Update General Plan maintaining but also simplifying growth control and establishing green belt in southeast quadrant

Continue top priority of public safety

Advance downtown specific plan in spite of loss of RDA

? 3. How would you balance the needs of the city as a whole with groups’ interests?

Always represent interests of the city as a whole while considering everyone's specific interests
