I'm Lupe Ramos Watson, a businesswoman and mother who has served as your Coucilwoman and Mayor for Indio City Council. I am running for my 3rd term in the November 6th 2012 General Election.

Reelect Lupe Ramos Watson--Your Pro-Business, Pro-Public Safety and Experienced Leader on the Indio City Council for the past 8 years.

Born and raised in Indio, Lupe and her family have been local business owners for generations.

Lupe's commitment to the community is evident in her priorities and accomplishments. She has led the City in promoting and growing our local economy through projects such as: the Jackson Shopping Centers, the new Riverside County Administrative Center, and the downtown College of the Desert campus, which have brought hundreds of millions of dollars in investment and jobs.

Lupe continues to safeguard our community by protecting public safety and enhancing recreation opportunities such as the Senior Center, Teen Center and City's parks.

Lupe is endorsed by: Congresswoman Bono Mack, Senator Emmerson, Assemblyman Nestande, Supervisor Benoit, Sheriff Sniff, Firefighters Association, School Board Members Griffith and Duran, Desert Board of Realtors, GROW Elect, Associated Builders and Contractors and many local elected officials.

Lupe is a leader and regional advocate who provides solutions for Indio and the region. She has served on many boards such as: Southern California Association of Governments Regional Council, Riverside County Children and Families Commission, Coachella Valley Economic Partnership, Coachella Valley Housing Trust, and Desert Sands/CV Unified/College of the Desert Joint Education Committee and many more.
