Council Member; City of Jurupa Valley

I am knowledgeble, qualified and a dedicated person who is the most qualified to shape our new City.

I have no personal agenda and remember I will represent the people of our community.

I take pride in living here in Jurupa Valley and am running for City Council because of your Trust and encouragement.

I have the interest of our community at heart. Our families call Jurupa Valley Home.

As a businessman, I know the value of our hard earned dollars and wont waste it.

I am ready to put my experience to work for you to keep our City Safe, Family Friendly and Consistent with our values.

We need to focus on Crime, Graffiti, Street Improvements, Revitalize blighted areas, and maintain and expand our horse trails.

We must promote business growth to create new jobs within our new City.

I am sure I will earn your trust and prove to you that I am the Best canidate for the City Council.

I have years of experiance in planning, business ownership, managment, and decision making.

FAMILY:

My family and I love living in the Jurupa area and I want to do everything we can to improve the community for other people who live here too. My wife, children and I keep our family active in the City.

I have a coach for the Jurupa Region 462 AYSO.

A supporter of the PTA.

I am on the Board of the Jurupa Fast Pitched Softball League.

A supporter of Seniors, Veterans and Children.

A supporter of sports and programs for children.

EXPERIENCE:

I graduated from California State University, Northridge with a degree in Business Management.

Small business owner since 1988.

California State General Contractors "B" License and Plumbing "C-36" License.

Currently a Planning and Project Manager:

I work with, public and private agencies, Consultants, Contractors, Inspectors, City and County Building, Planning, Engineering, and Public Works Departments and work with community members on a variety of issues.

I also create project budgets, write contracts and scopes of work, oversee sub-contractors, have decision making power and the accountability to make sure the projects stay within budget and are completed in a timely manner.

Summary of Work Experience, Education and Professional Licenses

Professional experience:

1987 + 1998: Law Offices of Fred Charness + Insurance Subrogation Specialist.

1988 + current: Owner of Ace Retrofitting. Service, Inspections, Sales, Compliance, Installation, Contracting, Consulting.

1991 + 1992: Dennis Watson (distributor of plumbing devices). Distribution, Sales, Marketing and trade show representative.

1992 + 1994: Pini Lipski and Associates + Vice President of Marketing. Management, Retail & Wholesale Sales, Budgeting, Product Improvement, New Product Concepts.

2003 + Current: Far West Industries + Project Manager. Duties include land investigations and entitlement processing, creating budgets for large projects, overseeing those projects and beign accountable for the results. I also provide ongoing coordination with various City and County Departments including Sewer and Water Districts, Parks Districts, Public Works, Engineering, Planning, Building and Safety, Phone, Cable, Gas and Electric Providers, consultants, engineers, architects, sub-contractors, adjacent neighbors, and inspectors for new and existing development projects. Projects are located within the unincorporated areas of the County of Riverside, and in incorporated cities throughout Southern California.

Professional Licenses:

1988-1991 - Retrofitter License from Los Angeles City Department of Building and Safety License no. 60 1991-2006 - Retrofitter License from Los Angeles Department of Water and Power License no. 105 12/12/01 + State of California Class "B" Contractors license from California State Contractors Board.

4/22/02 + State of California Class "C-36" Plumbing license from California State Contractors Board.

Education:

1987 + Graduated from Granada Hills High School, Granada Hills, Ca

1992 + Graduated from California State University at Northridge, Bachelor of Science in Business with a specialization in Organizational Systems Management.

I have also had ongoing training in Storm Water Pollution Prevention, Particle Dust Mitigation Monitoring, Title 24 updates training, and I attend quarterly Southern California Edison meetings.

I have attended most City Council Meetings. I have attended, Jurupa Chamber of Commerce, Rotory Club, Lions Club, Planning Commission and various other meetings and events to keep updated on the desires of the residents who live here in Jurupa Valley.
