Candidate for
Mayor; City of Garden Grove

I am an Orange County native, growing up in Santa Ana and residing in Garden Grove since 1978. My husband Randy and I have two married daughters, Jennifer and Joanna, and two grandsons. I have worked with the Garden Grove Unified School District since 1994 and have been the School Secretary at Izaak Walton Intermediate School since 2000. Prior to working for the school district, I was a Legal Secretary and Certified Legal Assistant/Paralegal for 20 years.

I have been a member of the Garden Grove Police Department Community Policing Advisory Board (formerly known as the Chief's Forum) since its formation in 1995. I have been active in our neighborhood watch program and have co-sponsored an annual neighborhood potluck in conjunction with the National Night Out for many years. I am also a community volunteer with the Garden Grove Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) since 2005. I was active in my daughters' school PTA and other parent organizations during their school years.

I am a member of Calvary Church of Santa Ana and have been active in various areas since 1982.
