Candidate for Board Member; Placentia Library District

Why I'm Running for Library Trustee
Knowing my passion for this community, I was encouraged by several individuals to run for the position of Placentia Library Trustee. It is for this reason I am writing you today, requesting your vote and support in this upcoming election.

As an active member of my community, it is my desire to preserve the unique and special blend of services and programs offered by our library. These services and programs can only be maintained by continuing as an independent resource. I know my work experience with local hospitals, as well as my previous leadership roles, provides me with a unique blend of familiarity with the operations of a governing board. I am a problem solver by nature and I recognize the need to manage a fiscal budget effectively.

Please help me by making your choice for Library Trustee + a"Vote for Sowards". It is my pledge to work diligently to continue the high level of service and programs offered to our community. You may also help my campaign by an endorsement, by placing a campaign sign in your front lawn, or by providing financial assistance. Please kindly take a moment to look over the enclosed envelope and check the box you wish, in support my campaign.

Thank you so much for your support and Vote! And thank you also for sharing your enthusiasm with your friends and neighbors. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,

Jo Ann Sowards
